Former Co-Chief Executive Officer of E.Merge Technology Acquisition
Guy Gecht joined Logitech’s board of directors in 2019. He currently chairs the Technology and Innovation Committee and serves on the Nominating and Governance Committee. He served as interim CEO of Logitech from June to December 2023.
Mr. Gecht is the former co-CEO of E.Merge Technology Acquisition Corp., a special purpose acquisition company focused on software and internet technologies. Before that, he was CEO of publicly traded Electronics for Imaging (EFI) from 2000 to 2018, where he led the transformation of the company into a global leader in digital printing technology. He joined EFI in 1995 and held leadership roles including president and VP/GM of Fiery products.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Gecht held engineering management roles at Interro Systems, ASP Computer Products, and Apple Israel. He also served as an officer in the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), leading development teams and later managing one of the IDF’s high-tech divisions.
Mr. Gecht currently serves on the board of directors of SolarEdge Technologies, where he chairs the Technology and Cyber Committees. Prior to that, he spent 18 years on the board of Check Point Software Technologies, serving as Lead Independent Director during his last four years. He also served as Chairperson of EFI’s board from 2000 to 2007.
Mr. Gecht holds a B.S. in Computer Science and Mathematics from Ben Gurion University in Israel.
